Post-16 Education

The Post-16 Education provision at Hardwick House is a Level 2 provision and effectively an extended Key Stage 4 opportunity. Hardwick House School recognises that learners with an autism diagnosis experience significant barriers to their learners that sometimes results in a delay in completion of a traditional mainstream Key Stage 4 programme.

 

Post-16 learners have the opportunity to complete a range of GCSE's, along with a comprehensive programme of PSHCEE, Life Skills and Social Communication in preparation for adulthood. All learners are also supported on their transition pathway for life beyond Hardwick House, including visits to prospective educational establishments.
